FROM THE BIBLE
Proverbs 22:1

A good name is better than great riches:
and good favour is above silver and gold..

FROM THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

The Church is, accordingly, a sheepfold, the sole and necessary gateway to which is Christ. It is also the flock of which God himself foretold that he would be the shepherd, and whose sheep, even though governed by human shepherds, are unfailingly nourished and led by Christ himself, the Good Shepherd and Prince of Shepherds, who gave his life for his sheep.

Dear Ever So Wooly and Fluffy Flock,
✠✠✠

Please keep in mind that the First Communion for Saint James’s Parish and Saint Ann’s Parish will take place next Saturday 27 April 2024 at Saint Ann’s. The Mass will begin at 1 p.m.

Well, the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fátima has come and gone. It was a truly grand history-making occasion. The Holy Hour was packed. What a beautiful tribute from our parish to the Holy Mother of God. It is hoped that the statue will return for another visit in 2025. Here are a few photos:

On Saturday 20 April 2024 I officiated at the wedding of Noah and Cassandra (“Cassie”) Faetz.
What blessings have come to them in these past few weeks. They were baptized, confirmed and made their first communion at the Easter Vigil. Then a few days later they made their First Confession (Sacrament of Penance) and finally received the Sacrament of Matrimony. Five (5) Sacraments to help them on their way to eternal happiness in Heaven. Here are a few photos:
