Holy Communion

The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, our spiritual food.

First Holy Communion is administered when a child is able to distinguish ordinary bread and wine from the Body and Blood of Christ.  Usually it is bestowed after the age of seven or eight following two years of instruction at school or through the PREP programme.

Adults receive FHC after participation in the RCIA programme.

If you are sick at home or in hospital and unable to attend Mass, please contact the pastor to arrange a visit if you wish to receive Communion.
